Cocoa Beach: Midweek

Another day at the beach!

Jay and Chris spent some more umbrella time down by the ocean until the heat and hunger forced their return to the room.

I am gradually becoming an observer of the daily beach life and patterns. Ships sail in and out of the port. The beach crowd swells and shrinks with sun intensity. The occupancy of buildings changes as the week wears on. It's an interesting cycle of life, and easy to imagine living here to watch it.

For dinner, Chris and I whipped up a great peppery meatloaf with corn on the cob and sauteed spinach with garlic.
