In New Orleans

We've had a long day today. Our flight left at 7:45, creating a time line that had us in a cab at my house at 5:30 am. It's now 10:22 pm Central time, so this day has been about too many hours long!

Our feeding plan for this morning was to hold off until we got to New Orleans, then eat Beignets at Cafe du Monde for breakfast. This worked great until we arrived at the Cafe to confront a 30-minute waiting line. We had waited too long to eat, and sought out faster feeding at the hotel cafe breakfast buffet, which was great. Beignets another day.

The rest of the day we bummed around shooting pictures and watching the Jackson Square people show. We had dinner at a Creole restaurant, and rode a mule cart for a leisurely tour of the French Quarter.

We finished off the day with a drink in the hotel bar, listening to their jazz combo.
